Purpose
ACSIS commits to protecting children, adults at risk, beneficiaries, community members, volunteers and staff from exploitation, abuse, harassment and other preventable harm connected to organizational activities.
Core Commitments
- Zero tolerance for sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment by personnel or representatives.
- Child safeguarding and age-appropriate protection measures.
- Respect for dignity, privacy, informed consent and confidentiality.
- Safe recruitment, orientation and conduct expectations appropriate to role and risk.
- Survivor-centered and child-sensitive handling of reports.
- Prompt referral when specialized protection, medical, legal or emergency services are required.
- No retaliation against good-faith reporters.
